Michael Billik has been a professional musician writing, recording, and performing  for over 38 years.    He plays all the instruments on his tracks and records them in his own studio -  "Studio 6".  He is always writing music  to share it with the world in hopes it brings joy and hope to others.  Its all about sharing the love and the power of music.  He has often said if he has nothing to say then there is no song to write.  it's always about being real then to put out a song because it sounds cool or for the sake of putting something out.  Every song has to have relevance. Its not about what's trending you have to put out material that is meaningful to you.

Released Feb 21 2026. Recorded During The Month of Feb 2026 At Studio 6, Pickering, Ontario, Canada. Mixed & Produced by Michael.  He played all the instruments.

"Best I Can"

Released Feb 2 2026.  Recorded during June 2025 to Jan 2026. Written, performed, produced, and mixed by Michael at Studio 6, Pickering, Ontario, Canada. It's said to be one of his most personal songs to date. Its about you are who you are in this life and if people don't accept you for who you are then ya have to remove them from your life.  Your success  can fuel jealousy.

"Here I Am"

Released March 5, 2025. Recorded on 2" tape via a Studer A827.   Written, performed, and mixed by Michael at Studio 6. The song was recorded over Jan to March of 2025. This was Michael's first original single.

BLOG:

Michael is a solo artist that hires musicians to join him performing at local venues. He has had the honor of playing with many pro musicians over years.  The band started with Keith Da,Souza and Michael jaming in 2010  to booking a  number of shows come 2012 . In later years Michael was joined by Gus Augustus on drums, which he decided  to bail from the band  to enjoy the Summer of 2022  knowing  dates were booked all summer right out to the end of the year.    Gus knowing dates left with no return date forcing  Michael to find a  new drummer  to cover the  remaining shows for 2022. Gus later expressed how fustrated he was how quickly he was replaced.  Michael found  Raff and he  filled the remaing dates for 2022 and has been  his drummer ever since (great drummer).  Then in 2024 Morley Fernandes left the band for five  months with no back up and sadly he was replaced as well.   Loosing Morley was a loss to Michael as he was not only a bassist, but he considered him a  friend.   

Michael has often said, its easy to find musicians, but its hard to find good musicians.
